1. Promoting creative research and development of local cultures via the establishment

of a “University-Locality-World Originality-Coordination System” featuring

(1) The Creator of The Arts Project, and (2) “Last Mile” the arts and design project.

2. Establishing the International Art Village and holding international artists camps and

workshops:

Making use of the beautiful natural environment as well as the multi-variate cultural

heritage of eastern Taiwan to provide international artists with an excellent environment

while putting both faculty members and students on the direct track toward

internationalization as compensation for certain academic insufficiency.

3. Continuing the academic exchange of music worldwide aiming to establish

the Eastern Taiwan Music Academic Research Center.
