Currently, The College of The Arts still lies on the Meilun campus in Hwalien city,

and is scheduled to move to the home campus in Shou Feng in 2011,

when the New Teaching Compound is built.

The home campus of Natural Dong Hwa University is located in Hwalien-Taitung Longitudinal Valley,

with elegant school layout in an outlying area and beautiful landscape.

All our departments have begun to attempt a new methodology about art academic studies,

by revising the outdated curricula and alowing students to explore their own ambitions and potentials.

At the digital era, students are expected to be equipped with an ability to handle all kinds of

media to create their art works and informed about all types of cognitive theories,

so that they can develop their individualistic styles by displaying Hwalien and Taitung local cultures,

which are different from urban ones.
 

From the aforementioned, our main concern is to cultivate students’ self-exploration and self-achievement.

It is our belief that in this natural, artistic, and highly academic ambience, student will move toward excellence.
